  1. A Matching Pair! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Aug 2016

Same great craftsmanship from Boomba. These along with the oil filler cap, battery tie down and dipstick handle make the FiST engine bay look pretty cool. These slip over the OEM caps and secure with a few set screws. I had a fitment issue with the coolant cap. The OEM cap did not slip right into the new cap as it should. Not sure why, my FiST is very early production, maybe an oddball. If you run into this DO NOT force it in! There is no way to get it back out without destroying both caps. It will compress the OEM cap just enough that it will not thread back onto the tank without a lot of force. Simply file down the OEM ribs/fins and if need be the inner ribs on the Boomba cap JUST enough until it slips in freely. Should be fine after that. Hope this helps someone :)

  2. At first it looked kind of cheesy BUT> 5 Star Review

After opening these out of the bag. They looked kind of cheesy at first BUT quality is great. They fit over them factory caps and use the small allen wrench to tightened and looks great.
