420g vs. the 180g of a stock knob.

These shift knobs feature a precision CNC machined brass core for added weight as well as a white delrin shell for durability, excellent appearance and ‘temperature management’. A heavier shift knob puts the weight towards the end of the shift lever. This increased momentum while shifting gives you a greater mechanical advantage, allowing for a much more positive feeling throw when rowing through the gears. The delrin shell features an anodized cap with an engraved shift pattern as well as an anodized aluminum collar along the bottom of the knob. Since these knobs are delrin, it prevents the surface of the shift knob from getting too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. These shift knobs make a great addition to your Tenth Gen interior!

  1. First aftermarket knob. Love it 5 Star Review

    Love the knob itself after installing in my '18 Sport. Very nice feel. The extra weight really does make the shifting smoother. Love the look too. Really didn't want something that stood out - wanted something that looked like it would've come with the car.
    1) Not sure if I just need to hit it harder, but the top round gear indicator piece doesn't sit flush. Wish it did. It bugs me that I can feel the edge of it.
    2) The tie-wrap had NO retention to it. I pulled it tight but it was still too loose and the boot would pull off. Had to use my own tie-wrap that was the standard type with the big square head on it which you can then feel under the boot.
    3) Not really a negative, but I wish that getting the knob on/off was as simple as the stock knob that just unclips from shift lever and then spins off. To get this off (and I'm guessing the same as most aftermarket knobs) you have to pull up the whole shift console piece and cut the tie-wrap...AFTER awkwardly spinning the whole assembly around a zillion times. Sort of annoying after seeing how simple the OEM knob could be taken off.

    Was in the market for a weighted shift knob or my 17 Si. I wanted something that looked great which is does but it needed to look like it belonged in the car. Too many of them looked out of place or just over used design, plus the Derlin plastic is great especially in this crazy winter weather we’ve had. Really helped improve shift engagement as it should.
