Only compatible with the 2.0 EcoBoost Fusion. Does not fit 2017+ Fusion 2.0 EcoBoost
This direct bolt-on kit deletes and blocks the sound symposer from your Fusion with the 2.0 Ecoboost, cutting off the artificial drone noises being directed into the car's cabin, instead allowing you to hear your engine and exhaust tones as they should be. Included is this kit are an aluminum block-off plate and a delrin hose plug, both of which are precision CNC machined from high quality material with laser engraved Boomba logos.
The block off plate features a threaded 1/4 NPT port and plug, allowing for allowing the end user to connect whatever aftermarket accessories they desire, such as our in-development catch can. This kit is also must-have for those higher horse power builds, where the increased boost levels could break the internal diaphragm of the OEM symposer components and cause boost leaks. Installation is simple and as well as completely reversible.
The black Delrin plug is to be used on the elbow that comes off of the firewall in similar fashion to the following picture below:

Great product, does what it's supposed to do!
If you don't like a fake car sound then this is the best bang for your buck. 5 minute install make this easy as well.
Make it easy on yourself. Get some bent nose pliers for the factory hose clamp. Super cheap at harbor freight, They will make this install a snap. Car sounds as it should now. Combined with a Magna flow muffler, BOV and the k&n CAI it definitely has more get up and go.
install was easy if it wasn’t for terrible oem hose clamps. can’t beat it for $40
I've had my Fiesta ST for a few months. While the symposer sound is cool at first, it was starting to wear on me, especially on the highway. It also started to give me the feeling that the engine just isn't very refined or high-tech. This is actually the opposite of the 1.6L. This is an incredibly refined and advanced powertrain. After installing the delete, I was so pleased with the feeling of refinement and speed. I know it's purely psychological, but the car feels smoother and therefore faster to me. You will see that getting the symposer off can be tricky. I found that using Vice grips opened up and then screwing them down to pinch the clamp worked very well and kept the clamp open while I removed the unit. Thanks Boomba for engineering a great product.
I was a little hesitant on getting this at first even after watching the YouTube videos just because they did not do this little guy justice. I had this thing installed in under five minutes, took it out for A quick run around the block which turned into a half hour drive because I couldn’t believe the tones I had been missing from my intake and exhaust before. The magna flow cat back I have on here sounds so much better. Well, to me in the car it does lol. Do it. You won’t regret it.
Easy to install. Can really hear the intake and boomba blow off valve. Instead of fake engine noise.
Very simple kit to allow the removal of the symposer. Install was very easy once I got the clamp to break loose from the rubber hose. The clamp was point toward the engine, as others have said, but there was enough flex in the rubber hose that I could twist it to easily get long pliers on it. Interior sounds so much better without the fake engine noise.
For me the clamp on the inlet to the sound symposer was in a position that didn't allow me to open it. I had to saw the symposer in half to reach the clamp tabs. THe hose from the symposer to the backside of the dash should be shorten to remove it from the engine area. Glad Boomba had this.
