It installs easily, replacing the OEM shift lever on your Subaru WRX with no modifications required to the surrounding console. The re-engineered lever reduces shift travel by 30%, giving you a shorter and crisper shift experience as you row through the gears. The shifter height is shorter by almost 2 inches and is also positioned closer to the driver by half an inch, putting the shift knob in a much more comfortable position, all while retaining full functionality of the reverse lockout.

Replacing that rubber bushing with our solid brass bushing leads to a much more engaging gear change, while drastically reducing shifter slop. Shift Stop Description:
Introducing Boomba's latest product for the 2015+ WRX. This billet aluminum shifter stop is CNC machined in house at our facility in Wood Dale, IL. It's designed to drastically reduce shifter play while in gear. It essentially removes all the additional play your shifter has while in the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th gear gates. Pair this with our brass bushing, short throw shift lever, and shift plate; and you have a recipe for nirvana.

I got the ultimate shifter package on a black friday deal. Let me just say that I now know why the stock shifter is complained about so frequently. My shifter feels very solid and tight. Absolutely no wiggle in all gears. The throw is extremely short so its taking a little time to get used to driving again.
Install was pretty smooth. Took about 2.5 hours with the majority of the time screwing with the shifter plates rolls pins and getting the top bolt on the shifter plate cover. Other than that just have a nice clean work area where you can keep track of all the screws and bolts and the install is really straight forward.
