Introducing Boomba Racing's all new Rear Motor Mount for the Veloster/Elantra GT/Forte GT/Kona N. This mount is beautifully CNC machined from 6061 aircraft grade billet aluminum, right here in our Wood Dale, Il manufacturing headquarters. Our mount features molded in polyurethane bushings, not pressed in bushings like our competitors. This leads to a much more durable motor mount, since the collar can not rotate in the bushing and cause friction. This mount helps to stabilize the engine during launches, hard acceleration, and aggressive turns. By stabilizing the engine, you reduce wheel hop drastically which leads to more efficient power transfer to the ground.
We've chosen to implement 80 Durometer bushings with this mount, we find it is the perfect middle ground between comfort and performance. The 80 Durometer bushings help to absorb excessive vibrations, while still aiding in putting the power to the ground without insane amounts of wheel hop.
Installation is very simple and straight forward, there is no need to support the engine.
These mounts are available in 4 colors! (Black, Blue, Red, and Natural Aluminum)
Subframe bolts = 36.2 - 47.0 lb-ft
Main cross-bolt & nut = 65.1 - 79.6 lb-ft
If you are wondering why you need one, just look at the amount of movement the stock mounts has!
See the video below why our mounts are superior to those with a pressed-in bushing:
As with any aftermarket motor mount, there will be added NVH(noise vibration harshness) that wasn't there before. These mounts take 1,000 to 2,000 miles to fully break in.

I'm still breaking this component in, but I certainly notice a marked drop in wheel hop under hard acceleration. It feels like my Kona N puts its power down somewhat more efficiently now. On the downside, there's certainly more vibration transmitted to the frame (and you feel it), but it's worth the improved traction. Transmitted vibration should also reduce as the mount breaks in. A quality component that was easy to install and well worth the price.
One of the best mods for racing applications and improvement in wheel hop and reduced body roll and engine movement!
Amazing quality parts and harware! It didnt quite fit to oem on my 16 veloster r-spec due to the aftermarket factory lower anti rollbar. But with that modified the motor mount works fantastic! Makes the car feel and drive so much better! 100% recommend to anyone that is looking for a stiffer motor mount!
Easy install. Does create vibration,, especially when the A/C is on which takes some getting use to. Supposed to ease up over time, will see. Definitely does eliminate wheel hop
Great product! The wheel hop was pretty bad with the stock motor mounts from a launch. this pretty much eliminates all of it would buy again!
Very great feeling when driving, you get used to the vibration and it’s fun. Big difference from stock
Easy to install will give you a vibration at low rpm but so worth it to control wheel hope. Has little to no wheel hope now
At first, I was a little worried because I had read the reviews about the vibrations. I decided to go for it anyway. The product arrived quickly, and seemed to be very high quality. Installation instructions were provided, but this piece was so simple to install, they weren't even needed, aside from the torque specs. The vibrations are very prominent when you first start driving it. It feels like you have a subwoofer on full blast when the rpms are lower, especially when you first take off and when you push it a little harder in the lower rpm range. I have had it on for a week and a half, and driven just shy of 500 miles, and I will tell you, there has been a significant reduction in those vibrations, which is good news because I read that the official break in period is 1,000-1,500 miles. Which means those vibrations will likely become barely noticeable in the future. When driving gingerly, I am able to leave from a stop without feeling anything anymore. I would recommend this product because it definitely takes away that movement of the engine and tranny. Launches feel more solid and it does get rid of the wheel hop as advertised. You just have to be patient with the temporary rougher ride. The vibration comes through the frame of the car, so you mostly hear and feel it on the inside. It's not really noticeable to anyone outside. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.
Amazing product, big difference from the stock one
